Equipment for relay and protection testing
The world’s first automated relay tester Megger Sverker was produced 1974. Sverker today has 3 galvanic ally isolated independent current channels, 4 voltage cannels and possibilities to test knee points on CT’s, impedance relays and is considered as the “Swiss army knife” for substation testing. It is the most commonly used relay tester with more than 30.000 units in use in the world due to its reliability, robustness and build quality.
The world’s first advanced relay tester was produced in the late 1980’s Megger RTS.
Major part of the relay test equipment in Macedonia is Megger. Almost all the relay test equipment in EVN Macedonia is Megger. More than 10 Sverker 900 units.
ELEM and MEPSO use Megger Freja for advanced automated relay testing and Sverker 900 and 780.
Most of the inspection companies (ITIS Skopje, Technical Institute Negotino, Elkoing, and TCI Eurocert), Faculty of Electronics and industrial companies (Macedonian Railways, Buchim, Elektroinvest) use Megger relay testers
Megger Freja today has the most advanced relay testing options and possibility to simultaneously generate and control up to 30 individual currents
